Obituary for Bryan Anthony Nahaj

Bryan Anthony Nahaj
Bryan Anthony Nahaj, of Uniontown, PA passed away on January 9, 2018 at the age of 55. He was born February 6, 1962 to the late Michael G. Nahaj, Sr. and Donna Marie (Savage) Nahaj. He is survived by his siblings, Michael G. Nahaj, Jr. of Great Mills, MD, Lisa M. Guyer and husband Travis of New Enterprise, PA, nephew, Steven Michael Nahaj of Berlin Germany, niece, Kelly Lynn Nahaj of Odenton, MD, and great niece, Brea Marie Nahaj-Taylor, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He attended Laurel Highland High School and was a graduate of California State University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Education. Bryan was an avid runner and swimmer in his younger days, and his thirst for knowledge held steady throughout his life. A teacher and listener, he was a thought-provoking conversationalist with a generous supply of encouraging words. His curious personality, combined with bright smile (and great head of hair), never ceased to charm. Bryan was a true friend who will be missed.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, January 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and on Saturday January 20, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Father Peter L. Peretti officiating. Private interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
