Obituary for Margareta Leona Smith

Margareta Leona (Swaney) Smith, 88, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was born on November 27, 1929, in Smithfield, PA, a daughter of the late Jarret and Etta (Moats) Swaney.

In addition to her parents, Margareta was preceded in death by her sisters, Sylvia Zunko, Mary Johnston, and Ester Molanick; and her brother, William Pastories.

Left to cherish her memory, are her loving husband, William W. Smith Sr.; her children, William W. Smith Jr. and his wife Ronda, James W. Smith and his wife Wendy, Margie Lee Smith; and former daughter-in-law, Beverly Dillow Smith; her grandchildren, Tracy Nichols, Heather (Smith) Dundas, Christopher Smith, Melissa (Smith) Arch, Jennifer Smith, Allayna Smith, Allyson Krenke, Allyssa (Krenke) Cecil, Ashlynn (Krenke) Lavsa, and numerous great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, January 5, from 4-7 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Jobes Officiating.
Entombment will be privately held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum.
