Obituary for John J. "Peachy" Sepski Sr.

John J. "Peachy"  Sepski Sr.
John J. “Peachy” Sepski Sr., 92, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. He was born on March 2, 1925, in Fairchance, PA, a son of the late Matthew M. and Dorothy Mary (Sula) Sepski.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Margaret Sepski; his grandson Jeffrey Sepski; and his sisters, Mary Koskie, Margaret Sepski, and Ann McClelland.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force, during WWII. He was a life long member of the Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club. He was also a member of the Amvets Post 103 and the Teamsters #491. He and his friends would have breakfast most mornings at Herrings Dairy Store and Restaurant. John was also an honorary employee of the South Union Twp. Building.
Left to cherish his memory, are his wife, Mildred Sepski; his children, Patricia Mineard, and John J. Sepski Jr., and his wife Patsy; his step children, Nina Springer, and Jim Hawk; his grandchildren, Lori Coffman and her husband David, and Scott Kilgore; step grandchildren, Eric and Colby Springer; his brother, Andrew Sepski; and special friends, Clarence “Jim” Cole and Jeff Conway.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on today, December 28, from 2-8 p.m. and Friday, December 29, until 11:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow Friday in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, at 12 Noon, with Rev. Father James W. Clark as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, where Military Honors will be accorded.
