Obituary for Marie Suchevits (Wolinski)

Marie C. (Wolinski) Suchevits, 96, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born July 12, 1921, in Leith, PA, a daughter of the late Andy J. and Sophia (Nobroski) Wolinski.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, I. Steve Suchevits, on June 23, 1967; two brothers; and two sisters.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, she was also a member of the St. John Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Marie volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul for many years and was a member of the Sweet Adeliens. She worked as a clerk for many years with Leith Union Supply, Continental #2 Union Supply, and Shop n’ Save before retiring from their bakery dept.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert S. Suchevits and his wife Rosalie; her grandson, Richard Suchevits and his wife Mary; her granddaughter, Susan Friend and Alan; her great grandchildren; Kaelyb and Ester Suchevits; her sister, Irene Kovalchick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, October 17, from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday, October 18, until 10:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, PA, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father James D. Tringhese as Celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
The Family would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and staff of the Cherry Tree Nursing Home, 3rd floor, and Anova Hospice Care.
