Obituary for Dolores Ferrell Lukotch

Dolores Ferrell Lukotch, 88 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

She was born on April 27, 1928 in Canonsburg Hospital, Canonsburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Willard O. and Mary E. (Zurowski) Ferrell.

Dolores was very devout in her faith and a long time member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She treasured time with her family and vacationing at the Jersey Shore for many years.

Dolores was employed at Standard Brands Incorporated, Manufactures Light and Heat Company which is now Columbia Gas and The Department of Agriculture in the past.

She will be remembered for her love of jazz music and artistic talents, love of learning and nature and her kind ways.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 59 years, Daniel J. Lukotch Sr., their children and their spouses Daniel and Colleen Lukotch, Doreen and James Detweiler, Donna and David Moses, grandchildren; who she adored, Maria and Amy Detweiler, Daniel Lukotch III and Jonathan Moses. She is also survived by her sister Irene Ferrell Doljac of Olathe, Kansas, sister-in-law Magdalen Lukotch Haas and husband Charles of Tucson Arizona and many special nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, Friday April 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday April 29, 2017 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Fr. Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.

A Parish Wake Service will be held Friday April 28, 2017 at 3 p.m.

Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
