Obituary for Jane Pramuk (Tatar)

Jane (Tatar) Pramuk, 69, of Masontown, Pa. died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, September 30, 2016. She was born on July 25, 1947 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Podobinsky) Tatar. Her parents and husband Ronald W. Pramuk preceded her in death.

Jane grew up in Keisterville, PA, and graduated from Uniontown High School in 1965. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from California State College, and taught Chemistry at Laurel Highlands and Albert Gallatin Area School Districts prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish where she served as RCIA Coordinator. At Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary, she served as Religious Education Coordinator, Marriage Counselor and a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society. Jane received the Communities for Salt and Light Humanitarian award from the Diocese of Greensburg. Jane was also an active member of the Uniontown Flower Club.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, children, Matthew Pramuk and wife Michelle, Kristina Buchanan and husband David, Angela Miller and husband Jim, and Lee Ann Moccaldi and husband Justin; grandchildren, Carson Pramuk, Lydia Pramuk, Grace Buchanan, Abby Miller, Emma Miller, Ryan Moccaldi, Aaron Moccaldi, Lauren Moccaldi, and Kara Moccaldi; sisters and a brother, Stacy Novotney, Timothy Tatar, and Gail Dvorchak; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, Pa., on Sunday, October 2, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Monday, October 3, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, PA, with Rev. Father William G. Berkey as celebrant. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 101 W. Church St. Masontown, PA or Masontown Helping Hands, 14 S. Main St. Masontown PA.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 3 p.m.
