Eleanor J. "Ellie" Rumenyak (Yesh)
Eleanor J. “Ellie” (Yesh) Rumenyak, 76, of Uniontown, PA, passed away at home on Monday, June 27, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 10, 1939 in Uniontown, daughter of Roman Albert Yesh and Blanche Theresa (Bonair) Yesh.
Her parents and her brother Robert preceded her in death.
Ellie was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and an avid bowler. She will be deeply missed by her family, especially her grandchildren who were truly the light of her life.
She is survived by her devoted husband William F. Rumenyak, whom she wed 56 years ago on May 7; daughter, Paula Jean Rumenyak-Saghy and husband Jeffrey of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren, Taylor Saghy, Jordan Saghy, and Brandon Saghy; sister-in-law, Connie Yesh; nephew, Troy Yesh, both of Virginia; treasured friend, Rhonda Tucker of Uniontown, PA; and her loving pets, Mayzee and Bugle.
The family sincerely thanks Amedisys Hospice caregivers, Colleen and Madonna for their compassionate care.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, June 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.; and on Friday, July 1, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Rd., Uniontown, PA.
Interment will be held at Mount St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
